Fear not, I have not abandoned this site. Every few days I scour the web for new tidbits on our favorite quarterback, but absolutely nothing of value has been posted since the end of January. Stay tuned, hopefully things will warm up as we approach the draft.
There has been a lot of Favre news if you looked hard enough for it. No official word yet from him on his retirement, but...
Vikings fans chipped in and erected a billboard near Favre's home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, thanking him for a great season and asking (begging) him to return in 2010. http://www.hattiesburgamerican.com/article/20100204/NEWS01/2040360/%5C-You-Brettcha%5C---Billboard-shows-fans-love-Brett-Favre
A Twin Cities radio station did the same thing: http://www.thevikingship.net/kfan-puts-billboard-brett/brett-favre/
A Vikings fan who lives in Wisconsin bought a full-page ad in the Hattisburg newspaper: http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/85276167.html?elr=KArksi8cyaiUo8cyaiUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aULPQL7PQLanchO7DiUr
A Facebook group of Vikings/Favre fans not only chipped in to rent the billboard asking Favre to return to the Vikings for a year, but the group has over 140,000 members and continues to raise money to donate on behalf of all Vikings fans to the Deana Favre Hope Foundation.
Brett Favre is appearing on Leno this Thursday, March 4.
At least one of Favre's Vikings teammates and a couple of sports reporters think he will play one more year: http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2010/02/vikings-lb-ben-leber-on-brett-favre-my-gut-feeling-is-that-he-is-gonna-come-back/1

Thanks for the great comment! Admittedly, I haven't been giving it 100%, but thanks to you I have some new sources to check regularly.
