Favre on Leno

Leno is convinced he's done, but Brett does more of the same "Well, I dunno!" He does know he's not going to say anything for a while, which I'm sure makes the Vikings and their fans incredibly happy to be living in limbo. Also, I thought Favre was a good personality? This video is rather painful.

The Favre Ad

People are amazing. One guy puts out a serious chunk of change just to deliver a [lame] message to Mr. Favre.

Not Forgotten

Fear not, I have not abandoned this site. Every few days I scour the web for new tidbits on our favorite quarterback, but absolutely nothing of value has been posted since the end of January. Stay tuned, hopefully things will warm up as we approach the draft.

Rick's Blog: Look at those bruises!

Impressive, and does certainly justify him throwing that last pass. That begs the question, though, should he have removed himself from the game if his injuries were so great that they'd affect his play as they did?

ESPN: No deadline for Favre

Dear NFL coaches,
You don't put undue pressure on a guy who nearly got you to the Super Bowl.
Signed,
Mike

Bravo, Childress, you've learned from the mistakes of others.

Washington Post: Is it time to hang 'em up?

Finally, someone writes something "different" (maybe "intelligent" is a better word for it?) on the subject. Cliff's: he had too good a season to retire.

Deadspin: Video Treasury of Season-Ending INTs

I didn't do any fact checking on the validity of "he has thrown an interception to close out each of the last three seasons," but seeing as how he is the king of drama, and has thrown more interceptions than anybody EVER (and that's with two year old stats... he's at 317 now), it seems fairly reasonable.

Huffington Post: McNabb to Vikings

I can never tell whether or not Huffington Post is real whenever I stumble across it. Based on this article, I'm thinking it's fake, but some of the other stuff they write is pretty good... sigh... The only thing we can be for sure of after today is Brett's replacement [if there is to be one] will likely be African-American and a member of the Eagles [if not already a Viking].

On a more serious note, the Eagles have already said Donovan is their QB next year.

ESPN: "Highly Unlikely"

Two sites, both quoting the same line. It must be a fact, right?

Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Vick to Vikings?

They're already got Tarvaris Jackson, why would you want another scrambling QB who can't throw and carries around a pretty bad stigma? You've got a few stellar receivers to boot... Doesn't make much sense to me.
